If you are interested in that boat and want more info, post on LSCN.NET. That is the local site. I have seen it around several time, just not up close.

Still got the 26' Infinity with 454 Mag and Bravo and the 27' Formula with twin 350 Mag Mercs. Both are around $11,000 on trailer.

Nice boat for the money. However, you'll need to do something with the seats. They wont hold up in race conditions.

Fully agree.
A nice set of high back sitdowns, like ppi.
Possibly fabricate a cover for behind the seats to the engine hatch... kinda like LS's sutphen.

A nice set of seats will cost a pretty penny. I know chris is on a tight budget. If he wants to race, he needs to think about what will hold up in rough water conditions. And pedastal seats will not, no matter what you mount behind them. Obviously, everything needs to be through bolted and he may have to cut access panels in the floor to do that.

I still think the 24 Carrera "Mission Impossible" is the right boat for him

Yep, twin marine sells them for $950each.
Then you need bases to mount them on, and hope the deck is strong enough to bolt them to/thru.
