Kelley ,it was me Fastcat ,it was a very bad recommendation! Hamilton Harbour got me for $12,000 .00 (bad bussiness) I can't say to much more about it , because its still in litigation. Listen to eMotiondriver this guy knows his stuff. He has contacts for quality boat work all over the bay.

Thanks, I won't be headed there. Not the first time I've heard dissatisfied customers speak about that particular place.

In reading some of the other replies though, I think I may have been unclear in the reason for my post. I just need a day and a half haulout. I do my own maintenance, and annually wax the hull & service the drives. $8/ft ($272) is unreasonable to just pull the boat out of the water for 36 hours and buy all the supplies from the marina. Point is, it was $4/ft ($136) for the last 10 years.

I'm certain there will be a time soon when I'll need a good mechanic and service work done, but for now I'm okay. It might be a better investment just to buy materials, build a big-ass raft and split the costs with the other guys on lifts in my marina.
