Default Maryland, cost of haul out to wax?

I've searched the boards and cannot find the guy who mentioned a $4 haulout price for the weekend to wax the boat and service the outdrives.

So who was it?? I think the marina was Hamilton Harbor in the Magothy? I need to find a place to haul and block for a Saturday and Sunday, relatively close to Baltimore.

Stay far away from Hamilton Harbour they may be cheap but when you go back the next day something could be missing .

I agree with CattAtack stay away. Try West Shore Yacht center. $4 dollars a foot sounds way too cheap. Call and ask for John @410-686-6998 They should all he supplies you need also. They used to maintain my 38 Scarab and did a graet job. They did some rigging and major fiberglass work on my 30 Motion when I switched from 300 ProMax's with a 20" mid to 2.5 Merc's with a 15" mid.
Good Luck, Doug

Tell them I sent you..

Hmm, well there goes that idea. It's just completely outrageous as hell to pay $272 to pull the boat out on a Saturday morning, block it, and put it back in Sunday night so I can simply wax the hull and service the drives.

I used to get all of this done for $4/ft. so I could do the work. Now that seemed reasonable considering I bought all my damned supplies and fuel from same place. But greed and arrogance at the marina has boosted the price to $8/ft.

Ted, I might just take you up on the offer. I still have a couple other places to check. There's got to be someone close to balto who agrees with me on this and will pull the boat for 2 days.

mxz800: I'm on a boat lift, no truck or trailer, so at the mercy of a marina with a fork or travellift at least 1 time annually for when I do the maintenance. Hell, Ted's got beer in the fridge, this is really a no-brainer.
