Hydra lift boat hoist.
 

I live on a canal off of Lake St. Clair. I have a 280 powerquest weighing around 5000 lbs.

Local restrictions, cost, and the configuration of my dock makes it difficult for me to install a traditional boat hoist. The following link is the manufacturers website for hydra lift boat lifts in Michigan:

Has anyone had any experience with similar products?

My canal is always at least 3' deep at the seawall (normally around 4.5). The current moves at an average or below average speed. Any suggestions or comments is appreciated.
