Garmin 640

Anyone have or is using the Garmin GPSMAP 640?
Trying to mount this thing on a buddy's dash and have a question on the DC hookup socket.

Haven't used one yet, but very interested in how well it works if you would let us no how well it does once you get her working good luck...
