Dave,
Yeah I made a run once with the guys from Mystic, from Sanford to J'ville, then back down the ICW to Daytona. I think the total NM was like 260 miles, or something like that. Beautiful trip.
Hope to see OSOer's out there.

We spent two weeks touring the st johns and the icw it was the best of times. The wifes parents live in jax and her brother on tavernier key we want to do a trip down there with our boat next and do the sandbar as well as all the other things to do on the water in the keys. It's nice to have a local as your personal guide.

Dave,
A keys trip is next on our list also, not sure when, probobly after "cane season"!
I hear that if you have kids, and they are under the age of 18, that the infamous "Sand Bar" has a reputation for women's disappearing clothing phenon!

Man,
I hope it stops raining! The water level in the SJR has come up about 1.5 ft. We've had over 5 inches of rain @ our house since Monday. Forecast says only 40-50% chance of rain by the weekend. We are still have a blast!

Default Po-Po

Just be careful on the river!
The Johnny-Law is usually out in force.
GFC around South-Moon or Blairs.

Thanks, and yeah they are always out on the big holiday weekends. Heck, we live on Sykes Creek, in Merritt island, and it's a Manatee Refuge, so we are used to the man being around. I don't drink in the boat, or if I do, HQ drives!

I hope they don't close the river! I have gotten 20" since Sunday. Check out my rain guage. It was empty 3 days ago!

WM,
i just called hontoons and they said the river has only come up about 16-18 inches, and it was low in the first place. They said that there was no chance of the river being closed, like last year after TS Fay.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the sun will shine by Friday!
