Looks like another take off of the 24 X 7 variety.

There were no 1989 Magnum 24's.

For history of 24's check out www.bananaboatco.com

Go to products, scroll down to 24 and read History of 24 footer.

Makes sense. I'm hoping someone has specific info about this particular boat. Thanks again. Dave911

Boat was manufactured by Magnum Express Powerboats, at 750 Copans Road, Pompano Beach, Fl. In business approximately 5 years, building the Tantrum 24 only. They were not from an Aronow or Magnum or Cigarette mold of any shape or length or kind. The new, never used, hull mold was purchased from Bob Saccenti @ Apache Powerboats & a Magnum Express deck was tooled. Apache never made a boat from the mold. The beam was 8'. It had a pad bottom, stepped transom & reversed chines & ran exceptionally well. Magnum Express built approximately 75 of the Tantrums in the 5 or so years they were in business.

I was under the impression that Bobby did build at least one 24' Apache. Am I mistaken?

Apache did build a completely different 7' beam boat. Apples & oranges.

Don't know anything about it, but it's a great looking boat, and seems like a good deal if everything checks out.
