Question K.C. area boat shops?...

I know there are a lot of you from the KC area here. I am looking for a good shop in that area to do a whipple install on my 502 efi. I am from western Ks, so the closer the better, don't want to haul all the way to LOTO just for boat work if possible, but hey if I'm there anyway . I am also looking for someone to do a complete stereo install in the boat. I have some great car audio places here, but we all know boats are different! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

There are no shops in KC worth using for performance related boat. Lake Shores Marina in Sunrise beach have installed a few whipples. I know they did a Maars cat a few years ago. They do get to KC sometimes and they may be able to meet you here.

I've seen that Mares install and rode in the boat. Very nice job.

I was kind of afraid of that. What about stereo shops? Any luck there?

I do at home. I will email it to you tonight. They also do some stereo installs. They are a small family run shop with really good rates.

Try calling Bruce Dudley at "State of mind Watersports" (314) 731-3795. He is out of St. Louis but he comes to KC and does work. He is very good and and is willing to work with you.
