Just purchased two Mercury #6 covers yesterday from boats.net - $30 delivered. There is a vendor in the classified selling billet pieces for $120 ea. Sounds a little expensive for what they are. Heard of others using pvc or a hose to cover the shaft and threads.

TNT has some pre-fabbed aluminum ones that you just cut the brackets to length to fit your stringer setup.
