cleaning black mold off of interior

What is the best way to get this off of the upholstery and to give the upholstery a good deep cleaning?

Thanks

We used a oxy clean type spray. It worked very well. I will try and get you the exact name but we got it at NAPA.

Use a soft scrub with Bleach product, being sure to not let the bleach sit too long, give it minimal exposure to the threads, and be sure to put a protection product on afterwards.

For bad cases use a Mr. Clean magic eraser and our vinyl cleaner (try the vinyl cleaner first) Spray the cleaner on the erasor and work up into a lather..then wipe off real good with water once cleaned...and then follow up with our UV protected conditioner. This will neutralize any of the Bleach residue that might have been left behind. It will also make the seats very plyable and soft... most important both the cleaner and conditioner won't harm the material or the stitching. Here is the latest thread on OSO for you to read.. if you have any Q's just give me a call and I'll walk you through it. Thanks and good luck getting the stain out. Jeff Jassby

After getting it as clean as you can with the afformentioned products, a few days in direct sunlight will bleach it out even more.

You can cut the bleach with water. 1/3 bleach to water will get rid of mold easy. I follow with Starbrite vinyl cleaner to get the dirt out and neutralize the bleach. When using bleach, be careful if you have carpet. You could take the color out of it if spilled.

Clorox clean up with bleach and a Mr. Clean magic eraser. Spray on and wipe clean.

Sorry guys, but bleach just scares me. My last boat the owner said he cleaned it real good just before I took possession. He apparently used bleach, and didn't do it right, cause the stitching on the sunpad came apart about a month after I got it. The vinyl was perfect and super clean, but the stitching was Gone!!! $680 to have it re-stitched. Bleach scares me.

I just bought the Leverage products and will be posting a before/after in the Vinyl thread. In the past I used Magic Erasers with decent success, but hoping Leverage is better.
