wow that interior is quite an anful color!!!! not to mentiona black boat is sure hard to keep looking good compound every season!
nto a bad project though. i love teh "IMP Cigarette" so the 31' imp was the forerunner of the 31' bullet  |
.."it's one of them-there Cigarette-boats"...
:p |
WOW! Only $5,000. All you would need to do is ad about $40,000 worth or rigging and you could EASILY sell that thing for $25,000!:D

I must have some kind of character flaw because I like projects like this:D
Actually if you can do your own work, you might be able to make a few bucks on a project like this.Pick up a pair of complete 330`s and you probably could find a running pair for 1500-2500 and a pair of used drives and transom assemblies for another 2500 and still be able to sell it for 17-19k fairly quickly. Yeah it`s kinda funky but if it was running there is always someone who would buy it. |
You just have to keep in mind biggus. It says LIKE a Cigarette, not IS a Cigarette. I mean would you own a boat called imp? Whats that, short for impotent?
|
I`d put a "P" in front of the IMP and I bet she`d sell quick:D :D

there was 31 imp for sale here on LI last year. I think it had 750hp blower motors and ran mid-high 80s
so for me the name (IMP) plus the HUGE hp required to make it moderatly fast woudl turn me away from a project like that. I checked out anothe rIMP smaller one last winter adn it was not only an ugle boat but the wuality was questionable. I know teh engine mounts are of thier own design and tend to rot out and are a ***** to replace. |
