Where's Mr Rickey?

He was always good at gathering up people for reunions and celebrations. Remember the "Cesare Marine Acadamy Awards?" or what ever it was called? He gave out awards for everything, every class and every category. Best Crewman, Best Announcer, Best Club Treasurer ...etc.

I never attended any of them, but (from the photos) it always seemed like his award banquets were packed with celebrities. His magazine "Vapor Trails" always was full of pictures from his black-tie banquets, and looked like a 'Who's who' in the Offshore World.

Anyone know where he is now?

Holder of the Caesar's Marine Academy Award for best wooden offshore Catamaran 32-32 1/2 feet 1983...and best Offshore TV Announcer (balding division). I would have gotten a lot more "awards"..but it wasn't worth the monetary charge......................;)

Now that will be the OFFSHORE CHALLENGE OF THE YEAR !!! To see who can round up the most "Retired Racers" & "Any of the Volunteers" that helped put the events on. Where's Leslie Cohen??? Boy if she wasn't the backbone of many races huh??? Let's get them all to SKATERFEST
