Stainless Marine exaust
 

I'm installing new exaust tips(un mufflered)(thanks Scott) on the Scarab..I may have to disconnect the elbows from the manifolds.. question is .. is there a sealant between the elbow and manifold??? if so what type?? red rtv???:rolleyes: :confused:

Yes,
Red RTV is used.
It will smell like something rubber burning for a while, so beware.

If it is the center rise manifolds there is a gasket that goes there. Some guys will tell you to just silicone it, but on any kind of performance boat you just don't want to skimp.
