Congrat's to Team 26!! This should be great for the race as they are stagged from closest to farthest both from the pace boat and the turn 1 buoy for both races.

TEAM SW1 CAPITAL QUICKEST IN TURKEY
Collins: "Pleased" after PowerPoleAfter their disastrous PowerPole qualifying session in Malta, Team SW1 Capital today put that experience behind them to record the fastest time in Istanbul.
Team SW1 Capital, comprising of Daniel Cramphorn and Kim Collins, continued their promising maiden season in the Powerboat P1 World Championship after recording a time of 02:41.01 - the quickest in SuperSport.
Already celebrating a sensational week after securing a two-year sponsorship deal with SW1 Capital, the team cemented their place as frontrunners for the championship title with an impressive showing on the 1.66 nautical mile PowerPole course.
Throttleman Kim Collins said: "We're very pleased with the result. I was a little worried about getting our speed right but we got what we wanted - only just though! The boat ran perfectly."
Team-mate and pilot Daniel Cramphorn is expecting a keenly fought race tomorrow. "It's going to be very tight tomorrow. There are plenty of tight turns so it is certainly going to be exciting. The first straight is crucial because of the structure of the course, anyone watching on Suada Island will have quite a bit to watch."
#38 Baia Attolini secured the second fastest time with 02:41.19 while #22 Big Sergio turned the form book on its head by finishing third quickest. Current championship leaders #43 Seagull Chaudron, with the star-studded crew of Angelo Tedeschi and Aaron Ciantar, were fifth fastest overall.

HOOK ELATED WITH POWERPOLE
Today
Lucas Oil Outerlimits took PowerPole in IstanbulLucas Oil Outerlimits throttleman Nigel Hook was overjoyed after his Lucas Oil Outerlimits hull recorded the fastest time in the PowerPole qualifying session in the Evolution class today.
The crew of Hook and Joe Sgro - with over 60 years of powerboating experience between them - claimed a time of 02:07.77 to give themthe choice of lane for the Sprint and Endurance races in the Evolution class which take place on Saturday and Sunday.
"I think everyone saw how smooth the Lucas Oil Outerlimits boat ran over the top of the water," said Hook. That's how we got so much speed. Looking at the qualifying times, it's very fractional. There is less than a second between Cigarette Smash Poker and ourselves. It will be a very tough competition with both Italian teams, Cigarette Smash Poker and the other Outerlimits boat, SNAV OSG just behind in third too."
Hook added: "The design of the Lucas Oil Outerlimits hull suits itself to Istanbul's type of disturbed water with the current and strong headwind. There is a lot of very confused water and not any pattern to it at all."
#10 Cigarette Smash Poker recorded a time of 02:08.51 with championship leaders #88 SNAV OSG third quickest.
