I've heard xylene is even better, all of those stores just named get it from large distribution chemical places like Dow or Ashland chemical which happens to be where I work, but u have to call & set up an account as to where the other places named u can just walk in & buy it, but if you buy enough could prolly save some $$$$ from Ashland

Either way Dave can be added to fuel to bring up the octane ,or sprayed at higher boost levels to avoid detonation

how much would i add per hundred gallons of 89 octane to get in the 93 range? The 525SC's do like their octane

If i go through more then a tank full over a weekend i sometimes have to fill up on the water and 89 is the best i can get around here. I am doing 5 days on the boat over the 4th and filled it two days ago at $2.60 a gallon for 93 but may go through that quickly, be nice to have the option to boost the octane on site.

Dave to take 100 gallons of 89 and turn it into 93 you'll need 20 gallons of Toulene
