Brad Penn Oil hard to get?
Can anyone tell me why Brad Penn oil is so hard to get?
It seems to be a good oil, but i am considering changing oils or buying 6 cases at a time! LOL I have to order it online right now and takes 8 to 10 days to get. Anyone know a quicker way to get it in Central Arkansas? Thanks:flag: Jump 26 Transportation |

I have seen that oil used by some of the top builders. What makes it that much better then some of the retail brands? just curious actually.

it has zinck in it you cant use it in cars with catlytic converters it like the old kendall oil that was real good butt they stoped making it cause of that if you use the break in oil dont leave it in for long its acidic

Read this thread. For my application, I was less than impressed with Brad Penn oil.
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...penn-oils.html I've since been running Mobil 1 V-Twin with fantastic results. |
oil
the brad penn has a high zinc level and is for race applications only. like some of the others stated its a good for lubrication especailly in flat tappet cams and alcohol motors such as sprint cars.
seems alot of circle track and dirt guys use it. its what my engine builders swears by and i've been using it in our race motors with good results. synthetics are too much $$$$$ and unless your leaving them in the engine for longer intervals between oil changes your not gaining anything. if your racing and changing oil all the time why bother. i've also tried torco and there pretty good. biggus are you sure you did't overheat the oil. the petro based oils will break more no matter what, since this his how oil works but the reg petro oils can't handle high heat(above 300 F) like the synthetics. i've also tried FINA, its the same as the old Rotella T with the additives still it in. plus its dirt cheap compared to some of the other stuff. |
