Does anyone know what happened to them. Are they bankrupt??
They had a pretty cool boat at last years show.

1 year, 1 boat, 1 million dollars....just like Newtech Marine. Is that incredible or what?

They may make a comeback, I wouldn't rule them out.

OK, so there are a few rumors out there about them, what happened? I saw the boat too and it was really tricked out, then nothing. Sometimes the website works, sometimes no. Would like to hear what they are doing (whatdoin), if they are doing anything!

Andreas is the only one that can answer for sure on what course and direction he and Platinum are going. If I can get a hold of him I will try to get him on line. I hate to add to rumors.

I talked to Andreas this morning. He said the first supercat hull and deck has been bonded together. This is not his main business and it is still very active. We should here more soon.

As for the Vee it has completed sea trials.

How did the V Bottom perform?

I know that Jim has put the boat through its paces with a wide variety of tests and set-ups to find out the limits of the boat.
I do not have any info on performance though. Jim is out testing so I cannot get an answer yet.

When I spoke to Jim last summer he had run the v-bottom with a set of HP500s and said the boat ran really well in Lake Erie in some choppy water and that he was impressed. Don't know the actual performance numbers nor what they might have tweaked and changed by now.
