Sure fire way to sell a boat
I put a add in craigslist just to see if i would get any action for my Formula and the next day get a call, he wants to come pick it up right away, it is just what he has been looking for.
only problem was he didnt understand what the K stands for at the end of $260K but he had the $260
But at least i had a buyer if i wanted to lower the price

Actually, that is where I sold my seadoo jet boat ,for $2,500 more than what we paid for it. BUT I did get alot of weird ph. calls, people asking where the boat is , so they can drive by it and look, I told them it's at my house in the driveway on it's trailer, right next to our German Sheppard!
Good luck with your Formula sale.

HAHA.
I have been selling a Sportbike on CL, and let me tell you, the people in the market for a $3k japanese sportbike are NOT the kind of people i want to spend time around. Just endless no-shows, endless lowballs, endless excuses, and an endless stream of people whose pants hang down past their ass, hats on crooked, and clothes are 3 sizes too big.
If I wasn't in a position where I needed the money I would have sold it to one of the neighborhood kids for next to nothing and never even thought about worrying with CL people.
And I am with you DEAN - if someone comes to look at anything at my house I always put my Sheppard up AFTER they pull in the driveway....

I guess we can assume he had you on speaker phone for the call, with his head cemented THAT far up his ass?
I don't know how you kept your cool.

I just sold my 3G iPhone yesterday from CL.
The person that bought it is exactly the description above.
BUT I had so many scammers wanting my paypal account; I think 1st day I had 6 - 8 scammers.
