I just got home from Winni today the past few days were not the best, but what a great lake. The house near clay point is something else. Try tp post some pics later.

Just got back from winni, what great weather! Clearly not the place for a 21' shallow v. I attempted to venture out into the broads but turned around in fear of biting my own tongue off from the beating I was taking! Still a good day, hung around in Alton bay and did some swimming and tubing. Didn't see to many high performance crafts, is Alton bay not a popular hangout?

It's not Alton Bay, it's the tree hugging speed limit laws enacted this year.

Been happily boating and spending my money elsewhere this year. :kiss:

Who is going up this weekend? I am heading up tonight

I was at Lake Winnie last weekend, first time and we've been up here for a year and a half. I saw some really nice boats there, including the Black Pearl. Hopefully we'll be back before the summer is over. We ran around in the RIB because we didn't bring the Regulator up from VA. So if you see two fools zipping around in a 12" Saturn RIB and the chick is wearing an OSO sun visor, it's me!
