What to do depends on what you like to do. I hope you have a decent size boat if you are going on a Holiday weekend.

here's a thread with info as well.http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=145715

You will be OK until the crowd gets there for the 4th.

Where are you staying at the 4MM?

Your boat will be fine. I had a 24 and never felt scared in it. Make sure to use your tabs in the rough stuff so it flies level.

You'll survive. It won't be a very pleasant ride when it gets really rough though. I had a 24 OL also about 5 years ago and had it at LOTO over many holidays.

i agree that you will survive and if you are lucky the e-dockers will be there for the 4th because one is a good chiropractor from my understanding and you will need one. good news is the 4th falls mid week so it will not have that heavy one solid weekend effect and during the week of the 4th will be a geat time to see how beautiful the lake is.

Any weekday you will be fine. Every weekend, you want a bigger boat. Judge for yourself. These are from after the Shootout.

As far as where to go???????

Party Cove...of course

Night life.......Topsider, Shooters, Dog Days, Horny Toad, Bayou Bills

adult entertainment(by land).....The Eclipse

Restaurants on the water are everywhere. I have found very few that I would not go back to, but have a dozen or so that I prefer.
