Default HELP: Cleaning upholstry

This is in my car, not the boat but figured you guys could still help me out.

I left a bottle of wax in the back seat of the car......heat blew it up all over the place. I have 1/2 a bottle of wax all over a cloth/leather mixed back seat. I've wiped away the bulk of the wax but how do I get the rest out of the fabric....and get rid of the smell? I've pulled the entire back seat out and have it sitting in my garage now, so what do I clean it with?????

steam clean it with a carpet cleaning machine, just use the upholstrey attachment, still may leave a stain but it will make it better.
