Tubular Swim Platforms
I was looking into tubular platforms and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what I can expect to pay. Pictures would be great too. Thanks!

they are awesome when extra room is needed..also easier when trying to get back in boat..or when tied up together, people aren't walking on sunpad...2500 is what I paid. I added a rear remote for the stereo back there as well as 2 plug in additional speakers so that they can be directed towards you vs having to crank up the volume so load to hear the music while in the water. |

I was looking into it also a few months ago and was looking at around $2000 like others have said. I couldn't justify it as I have an older boat and would never get it back out of it when I decide to upgrade. I built my own for about $450. It is a plywood core, fiberglassed and painted to match the boat. The top coat of paint had a non-skid additive made by interlux added to the paint and sprayed on. It came out perfect! The supports are 1 1/2" aluminum tubing to give the look of the tubular platforms. It's all bolted to the transom and as solid as a rock. I did all of the work myself except for the paint and took about 6 hours to build with 2 of us working on it, then fiberglass work another couple days.
