Lea's phone has been blowing up all day. Charlie had always been nice to us. He aways had something nice to say to Lea. We were at Sun Buns this weekend and the talk at the end of the bar was the runs to cancun. Heard the story several times. I got to talk to him about it and was amused and impressed. He had rode his bike over that day.
No matter what some may have thought of him, he had directly/indirectly had something to do with alot of the fun we all have been able to enjoy on the Tickfaw River.
He will be missed, a sad day indeed for all us "river rats".
First thing that comes to mind is him being quick to say "get the [email protected]#! out of my marina"!!!!!
May you have a great ride Charlie. Rest in peace.

Charlie was the real deal. I will never forget the first time we went to the 200, I watched him tell someone not to park in a certain area..... I believe those people are still trying to find their truck. RIP Charlie.

I had written the reply above while I was at work and when I went up to change clothes then realized I had worn my Tickfaw 200 t-shirt from last year to work. Kind of freaked me out when I opened my locker.
