Kryptonite Boats
A few days ago there was a thread on Kryptonite boats. I posted a reply or two on that thread, but did not have these pictures on my computer then. This is my throttleman's old F1 boat. The boat handled really well and was as tough as they come! Enjoy the pictures.

Nice pics Hot Duck. I've seen that boat running around OC. Who did he sell it to? Somebody in MD? I may be calling on you this summer for some navigation advice. I want to go from OC to Chincoteague. How tough is that?

Dave - I believe that the original Wanted, pictured above, ended up in the NY area, but I am not sure. I have never made the run to Chincoteague, but I understand that it is not too bad as long as you have a good tide and follow the markers. I do know numerous people that have run the bay that far south so E-mail me when you are ready to make the run and I will find answers to your questions.

Dave, the run to Chincoteague is ok as far as where the channel goes past the west side of the island and then on out the inlet. HOWEVER, once you make the left turn towards Toms Cove, Memorial Park or the area where the ponies swim be very very careful. It should be named Shoal Island on that side. A small jet boat is best suited for the area. Don't even think about trying to go all the way around the island. I did, and between the sea weed and the oyster bars I walked more than I rode. See signature.
