Cincinnati Poker Run July 25 & 26th
 

With the Cincy Poker Run being only 12 days away, I thought I'd try to get some feedback on who's planning on participating! For those of you who aren't from the area, the river is in great shape and the marina hosting the poker run party is under new ownership. They do a great job with the marina - the restaurant is good and the facility is clean. It's now called Manhattn Harbor. There are several hotels in the area as well.

I'm not participating but I'm gonna try & at least be down there, are any of the hotels by the marina?

What day is the run on the 25th or 26th?

I think the dates in this thread are wrong. It is the 24th and 25th. Party the 24th and the poker run is the 25th.

Why you asking Bobkatz? You will be at WalMart for the Michael Jackson sale memorial sale on saturday.

Where exactly is manhattn harbor?

Near Newport in Ky. Slighty up and across the river from Montgomery Inn.

Seriously trying to make it. As long as the brakes work on the trailer, I will be there. Is the ramp at Manhattan marina usable - or - good ole schmidt field...

last time we were in there it seemed pretty deep, so I would assume you would be alright using Manhattan's ramp. I still would much rather lauch my boat at schmidt so I dont have to fight Dayton Ky.

Guys, there is plenty of water at Manhattan Harbor been launching there all summer. There is 6 feet at the ramp and 7-8 feet going thur the mouth to the river. They have been dredging since late April. The river is in great shape, actually it is in better shape then Cumberland was Memorial Weekend. Locate price for 87 gas is $2.39, river price was $3.15 at 4 seasons last Sunday.:flag:

For any one that needs the service I will have one of my limos @ Mannhatn Harbor shuttling back and forth from the hotel to the marina. All I ask is that you tip the driver. Friday if anyone wants service to the casino you can call me direct, to work out a price. As for the shuttle service it will start at around 9 or 10pm and go untill bar close on friday night. Saturday will be the same times maybe a little later, if anyone would like transportaion in the morning please let me know. Other than that can't wait to see everyone friday.
