Grp 24 Batteries And Battery Boxes
Wow...never thought I would have so much trouble finding a GROUP 24 BATTERY to fit a Gil Marine Style Bracket.
All of the group 24's I have looked at have the lugs at edge of battery (would interfere with top bracket). Anyone using group 24s and what trays. I have not bought either yet so I am looking for SMALLEST LIGHTEST STARTING BATTERY. I do not want to spend the $$$$ (I NEED 4 ) for optimas doesnt seem worth it from what I have heard from battery suppliers.) Any suggestions would be appreciated. 750 CC or 1000 MCA |
Dude,
I have always had good luck with the sears die hard deep cycle marine batteries and if I remember correctly they fit the GIL trays just fine. You can't beat the warranty on them either. Lots of friends of mine use the interstates, but I stay with my die hards. good luck |
Thanks, looks like Interstate has to be the way to go. Dont want deep cycles, thanks for the reply.
