Look at Black Thunders and Sonics for good sport boats for spending long times on. Nice ones can be had for around 100k. Black thunders have 6'10" of head room Sonics 6'2" unless you get the GT thunder it's less head room but I don't know how much.

Scarab 38' is by far the best overall boat out there. Its fast, has all the bells and whistles, and its the best looking.

I am from Denmark too and have had 3 Cigarette Top Guns and now have a Cigarette 42 Tiger. You can spend a week in the Cig no problem it all comes down to what you want to use the boat for. Don't buy a boat based on 2 weeks use pr year, find out how you want to use your boat and for what and then decide which boat you want. Also factor in the budget, at that price you will have to put some money aside for maintanance and new parts. It is expensive boats to run and with older boats something will always break. Take my word for it it is not cheap to run theese things. If you like a nice steady ride and don't care for luxury go for a Cig. If you like the more comftable boat with ridequality like a Skoda go for the Baja, but know this: the Baja is not a well built boat! A friend in Denmark had one and the whole bottom delaminated and had to be changed. They are probably not all like that but it is not a quality boat compared to a Cig. Before you buy have someone who know go through engine with leak down and compression test. Take good long test drive, not just 10 minutes out of the harbour and back. If you want to spend the money there are nothing like powerboating.
Go for the cig it is awsome and if you can swing a Top Gun I can highly recomend that!

You will also have to consider the world of problems you run into if you buy a boat in the US. You will need to CE certify the boat and with the new noice and emission laws that is nearly impossible or will be very costly.
There are plenty for sale in Europe now and you should be able to get a good deal as everybody is selling now and no one is buying.

thanks Jesper...

can you PM me so we can talk i danish?

i have found a cheap cig and i have contact with a mechanic i US who can change the engines to 496ho with mpi and then there will be no problems with CE certification... i hope!

but i cant seem to find any in europe at all, and i think i can save a great deal of money if i by in US, cause i only have to pay taxes ect. of the "buy" price of the boat, and nothing for the engines...! and they are alot cheaper in US, and they will be brand new then.
