Look at the stringer pics up in the bow, they didn't even make a composite sanwich, its just wood with laquer, stringers and bulk heads are 2" at most and their not even a solid piece, their cut to fit???? WTF, this boat could easily breakapart if it hit a wave, I have seen jon boats built better.:party-smiley-004:

This boat used to be at the lake we go to. UGLY. I will promise you with everything I have this boat doesnt run anywhere close to 80. The guy also told us it is all balsa wood.

It almost looks to me that it was a "plug" that some mis-guided individual got ahold of and rigged.......sort of.

I would imagine with a weight of 1300 pounds, plus another 1000 for the engine/drive? Hit a wave and it breaks in two pieces. A bit stern heavy maybe? How hard can you push the envelope to get that kind of HP out of that engine?

Looks like the plug for the original Bladerunner made in New Zealand. The newer bladerunners use a redesigned stepped hull and actually are quite fast. But yes, the ebay sales pitch is absolute Bullshi$$.
