Default Crazy Charlie's Memorial Procession

Just a few pics we took this past weekend from Charlie's Memorial. Really cool time and well over 100 boats turned out. Haggin, Big Scotty and the Miss Geico crew came in the RIB, many law enforcement, fire department and parish (read:county) dignitaries in attendance as well. We were asked, and flattered, to be the "family" boat for the procession with Charlie's neice, her husband, nephew and his fiancee'. A very fitting tribute to a real life "pirate".

Default And lastly....

Finished the day off with a round of worm buckets and swamp burgers at the Prop Stop.

RIP Charlie.

Crazy Charlie was a very lucky man to have friends and relatives such as yourselves. We where honored to be there with you.

Haggin just informed me we'll be back in a couple of months to pay tribute again.

Marc, just to let you know, Danielle really loves the signed checkered flag you guys sent to the wake. Means a great deal to her and it meant a great deal for you guys to be there. You gotta come back next February for Haggin to pass the crown on to the next King of Wrecks! I'm sure someway, somehow, the parade and the TF 200 will continue on.

Thanks again guys!

Very cool- that procession photo is classic. Even for those of us that had never met him, his reputation was well known throughout the boating world as a unique human being.
