Default New 21 Sutphen!!!

-Morgan from Sutphen Powerboats spent the afternoon up here in Maine for an upcoming boat test.

Man, what an impressive little boat! How about 83.6 mph on gps with a bone stock 496 HO!

Very well made, handles incredible. Feels like a mini Gladiator.

Here's a few pics.

Have you ever driven any other 20ft go-fast like cig, apache, donzi, etc? If so, which one and how did it compare?

I had a 496 MAG HO and 280-S K-planes in my 22' Scarab, which was only a 19' running surface and the 21 Sutphen feels and handles like a much bigger boat. Look for a full evaluation in the next couple of days at www.ericcolby.com.

First I will say that is a very nice little boat. Having sold many 20 Baja Outlaws and Checkmates, the 20' Performance boats are a blast. I only had the pleasure with 350 300hp versions, I can only imagine what the midrange pul must have been with a 496HO. My only concern would be the price, merc just loves their mark up on big blocks, even more on blue motors.

Thumbs up Great Boat !

The craftsmanship, quality and pride really shows thru on this one. It's gorgeous and set up right !
It flew straight and level on some pretty rough waters on Winni with all the Donzi's on Sat..
Morgans a great guy and would be great to deal with on buying one.
Anybody considering downsizing or buying a great Sportboat give him a shout. I hope to see you w/ family at the Fall Donzi picnic Morgan also.
