anyone know a good survey in Ohio area?

Ohio is big, I found that lots of times guys from the far north prefer not to travel too far south.

I used a guy named Paul Kody. Seemed like he knew what he was doing, spent around 5 hours on a 38 footer. Guess he did his job, I ended up NOT buying the boat after flying out to Ohio........

Look at their listing of surveyors. Do your home work!!!!

Do not take anybody's word that they are an "accredited" surveyor, or that they are a member of SAMS or NAMS. Check the web sites and make sure they are listed.

Also, shoot for an accredited surveyor, as opposed to a surveyor associate. Nothing wrong with a surveyor associate, they just have not been through all the wickets, and you don't know their experience level.

If they say they are a member of NAMS, then go to the NAMS web site, they also have a listing.
