considering the cost of a lift for a 33ft boat why not just spend a little more and get the area where the lift will go dredged out? Then you could use any kind of floating lift you want.

My neighbor and I have done this twice in the past 10+ years but the lake is fed by the fox river and soot just fills it back in.

Brian - looks like you're getting lots of suggestions here. For the coin your talking about, I would think that dredging would be a solution then install one of the more conventional lifts.

What has some of the others on the lake done?

HTRDLNCN 08-04-2009 02:59 PM

you may just need to keep doing it every 5 years then,
even with a low working lift I wouldnt want all that crap stirred up when you start your boat up if its that close.

yss i don't know you but i think you hsve to look for another place on the water

My Airdock lifts my 32' Sunsation without a problem (6200 lbs dry weight) in pretty shallow water. Give them a call. Very cost effective compared to some other options.

YSS, look into two post elevator lifts. Close enough to land where ice flow would be slim once lake levels drop for winter.

Hydro hoist or some of the other brands built at LOTO have shallow water setups with smaller tanks. Just a thought.
