I need a throttle body for a 575 Merc, they say they are no longer avabile?? anyone have one they want to get rid of or know where to get one. Thanks, Merc part # 853998A1

I believe the 575 throttle body is same throttle body that was used on the Chevy 454ss trucks as "Quinlin" here on OSO had his rebuilt here in Tulsa and can probably provide more info.

what happened to yours that cant be repaired?

It is not for me Dave, it is on a 2003 Cigarette TS Top Gun, that I am doing some work on It is heavly frozen up!! from salt

That is where I got all of the parts to rebuild one( o rings and gaskets) was at Chevy. If it is salt look at the Manifolds water passages. Mine were damn near eatn thru .
