Well, for being only 25, the show had a small impact on me. The thing that drew me was the looks that i saw when the big boys came out to play. Loud engines, girls, and some sort of magical existance is what i saw when these boats were running. A Mach 1, 2 fountains and a Black Thunder later, I'm hooked for sure.

Yes and no.....first saw offshores as a kid on vacation every year in Saugatuck MI when they used to do a race between there and Grand Haven. Got hooked for real with Vice. Still love watching the old episodes on DVD....never know what classic boat you'll run cross on there!

Liked the show because of the boats. Got the complete dvd collection sitting next to the tv now.

I own a Scarab because of that show. But I was into boating 8 years before the show.
