Yes, also saw it out on sea-trailing for quite a few days, very impressive looking vessel when she was up and running

I wouldn't have a problem with that boat either. I picked the MTI because it's the biggest cat out there in terms of LOA.
For the V bottom lovers there's the 50' Hustler, the 51' Outerlimits, the 50' Nor-Tech and the new 54' McManus Apache, all of which can handle big turbine power.

If money were no object. Would you buy a boat with turbine engines.
I dont know much about them. I would want some kind of drive that has reverse and of course can take the power. Are they pretty much vibration free?
Not like I could ever afford one but standing next to them when they spool up those turbines, oh man!
What are the pros and cons to owning one? Just wondering.

and if not I would kind of like to know are they reliable in salt water?
what would be the major benefit in running them?
Oh and just to keep it going I would say the giant MTI (I think 55) with 2 of the giant turbines (1800'S???)

This has been fun for all of us what is dream land for most of us. There was one powerball winner last night and it wasnt me.
For me the MTI rigged by Trubine Marine sounds like my dream boat.
I would still like to hear more of the pros and cons with turbines.
For now and probably for ever I will enjoy my Fountain.
I cant complain.
