ALWAYS SOMETHING
WHY DO PEOPLE ALWAYS HAVE TO KNOCK OTHER PEOPLE'S SUCCESS? IT SEEMS TO ME THAT PANTERA HAS CUT THIER TEETH A LONG TIME BACK, AS A MATTER OF FACT I WAS AT GOLDMAN'S SHOP NEXT TO PANTERA AND I REGRET NOT ASKING FOR A TOUR, BUT FROM WHAT I SAW THEY DEFINITELY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES. SO MY WORDS TO THE MOUTH RUNNERS ARE
"GIVE PRAISE WHERE ITS DESERVED ....NOT ARROGANCE WHERE ITS UNWARRANTED" |
Taylor show me a” Silly Question” I have asked?????? And Old guy I have not made accusations .I have made <Observations >and asked for <Clarifications> is all, and unless you own a $19.00 12" Fishbowl shaped Monitor you would understand what I have been talking about.
--------------------------Sounds Dangerous count me in Best Regards |
Steve, Here is the "silly" question you asked:
My question is on #1 why on Earth would someone resurrect a 30 year old boat, Complete to the fold in the side, when nowadays we can do some pretty neat things with simple clean Hull shapes? It's not so much that it's a silly question as much as it is a silly time to ask it. This thread was started to celebrate a new boat release, so why don't you join in the celebration. If you want to start a negative critique then why not initiate your own thread? Besides, Too Old said, "why not". Why don't you enlighten us all with the specs for your perfect boat, including the dimensions, designers name, materials, proposed dry weight, center of gravity with I/O and outboards. The point is that the guys at Pantera worked too hard on this project for someone to try and spoil the "opening day". So knock it off. |
Yeah, Steve, I think it's the latter too. Yeah.
|
Jo, Beautiful boat!:D
|
Too Old, or should I say, Mr. Cecil:
I have admired that Pantera you used to have about a year back, very nice. Anyway, how far are you from the Savannah/Hilton Head area? My folks live down that way. I have a feeling you are more inland. Regards, Randy Taylor |
Old guy first off it is you guys keeping the threads going and I get the runaround, if you cannot see what I am talking about, your vision is Distorted or Half Blind?? What is it??? or an a third wrinkle you think like that bastard Judge years back Declaring all boats Generic in shape. Fortunately that has Been changed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------taylor <<<My question is on #1 why on Earth would someone resurrect a 30 year old boat, Complete to the fold in the side, when nowadays we can do some pretty neat things with simple clean Hull shapes?>>> Since you seem to have some knowledge why? And You are the Pantera Spokesperson right! While I am waiting Ill go fix some Popcorn You guys are really funny... by the way the Timing thing ,This was the first Time I saw the 35’ Pantera was in here. Taylor again---------------------------------------------------------- Why don't you enlighten us all with the specs for your perfect boat, including the dimensions, designers name, materials, proposed dry weight, center of gravity with I/O and outboards. The point is that the guys at Pantera worked too hard on this project for someone to try and spoil the "opening day". Best Regards:p |
Too Old,
I see, you're up in the northern part of the state. Cool. Steve, It's becoming all too obvious that you must have had a bad experience along the way. Deep down inside of you I hear the girl crying, so I'll lay off. Maybe someday we can race out in the rough stuff or something. |
Jo, Again, beautiful boat!. You and your employees should be very proud. It looks like it will be a hit. Best of luck:)
|
Absolutely,
I plan on owning a Pantera one of these days. Keep up the good work Nunez family. |
Dear Steve 1,
Was wondering if you have given any thought to my question. I would be interested in your opinion. |
rtaylor it figures typical crap no answers just more of the Kiddies attempts at Insult, Ok Girl crying You must be looking in your Mirror. LOL Now you lose what little creditability you had.
Best Regards |
Toold if you have been around the block in this business then you would know, How prized Prototyping Photos are to a Boat builder and what surprises me is that I have not seen any photos of the Plug work posted . after all you are the Expert right???Agree or Not. Or just more Lame Statements coming!
Kinda Best Regards Hey can I Joke too;Like Everyday above ground is a good one for someone that is toold |
Steve,
Just so you know, "creditability" doesn't really work in this sense. It's "credibility". Be man enough to identify yourself and give yourself some. Maybe your head has been under the hood too long. |
rtaylor and oldguy(still breathing i hope)I am not even going to address the Identity thing; for one I am not the one being asked Very Simple, Basic Questions!!!! And why should I ever leave this very public arena?? Maybe to the untrained eye, looking at the name decal, or the Shiny Propellers all is well on their Flat Earth.
Look Vee Bottom design work is fairly Straight Forward As we happen to know a whole lot about Water. LOL a Desktop Calculator, And a #2 Pencil will go a long way here, The Displacement work and Curves of Form do not require a Nobel laureate In Mathematics The Major work on the Air Flow can be done on a Drafting table and Mr. Calculator, the gross Cross-sections Factored by shape again no big deal as the Weight of Air is not a Military Secret. Now Stepping the Bottom is where the Men get separated from the Boys in this department. By the way in which category do you fall Mr. tailor and Lippy old nobody guy Now for Mr. Plug Since we have our Plans, Do we loft full size Best, Scale from the drawings Worst, Or dxf file the Mylar guy and get full size stations! Now Addressing the Plug again do we build a One off,( A Running Plug a boat you can Keep) or throw a Hundred Thousand or more in the Trash after Molding.. Point of all this Is Remember the O.J trial the Evidence Trail !! All I was looking for is a few Pictures of the Above to be Posted . ----------------------------------Sounds Dangerous count me in Best Regards Creditability What the hell have you ever done?? |
Yes the two boats look alike but if you look more closely you will see differences.
Too Old is a long standing member on this board and deserves more respect. Mocking him or anyone else here only discredits yourself. You obviously have a chip on you shoulder and the only one making a stink. Pantera Powerboats owes you no explanation or proof of their designs. If you feel the need to push this further maybe you should privately arrange a meeting with Cig, Pantera, and yourself. You can all bring bluprints, molds etc. and come to an educated conclusion instead of blowing smoke. Then you can share those findings with the rest of the board. |

Steve1,
Hold up !!! Look, you don't like the design or I agree with it, then great because no cares what you like anyway. "IF" you had the _alls to identify yourself and where you worked maybe...just....maybe people on this board would take you somewhat seriously. But instead you now want to starting making fun of some of our most esteemed members. Dude, you have just made yourself as popular as a fart in a space suit. Don't like the boat, no problem....Just lay off the members on the board!! This is not a pissing match but YOU have obviously turned it into one. Kindest regards, Pantera24 |
24- First off the Old one and Mr. Taylor were the ones crossed the line with attempts at Insults Do you not agree that the one with snide remarks, has opened oneself to the same???????? Only fair right?
============================================== "IF" you had the _alls to identify yourself and where you worked maybe...just....maybe people on this board would take you somewhat ============================================== You see 24 now it’s my turn (you did not fare well in high school debate did you) I could counter That with “How close were you able to get the Purposing down” But I won’t. 24 again But instead you now want to starting making fun of some of our most esteemed members < When they act esteemed they will be given respect!> ============================================== Ken Says Yes the two boats look alike but if you look more closely you will see differences. Ok Ill buy !! where ??And please do not say The Deck--------- KEN !...LOL I am anxiously awaiting your reply Ken ============================================== Best Regards:p |
Hey OSO members,
If you want more info on this guy "Steve1" go to the "NEW HULL DESIGN" thread. This guy must be one lonely and angry individual. ;)zzie |
Wow, nice pissing match...
Civility is so rare these days, lets try to practice some here. I think it's a great looking boat, and I'm sure it will be a hot seller for pantera. |
Steve1
No longer interested in this thread. But, if no diff. in the deck how about the step bottom? Don't recall Cafe's having that. Good luck |
Steve1,
I don't understand what in the world what you meant about getting the porpusing down?? but anyway. Let's call a truce on this matter. You have made your points and everyone else their's. You don't agree,like..etc. the design . And that's ok. Let's all enjoy some boating and that's it. Fair.? Pantera24 |
24 Cool !!with me.
Best Regards |
Christ one more! No Problemo Ok Mr. Wizard You should forgive my rather Dry Sense of Humor.
Best Regards :p |
Mr. Wizard,
Are you ready for Claudio's? We're splashing next weekend and as usual will end up at the bar, if it is open. Is the boat ready? I'm looking forward to a close 2nd!!! |
Hi Ken,
Whats doing bro? Can't believe it's that time already!!!I went to MRD over the weekend to check on the motor progress. All I have to say is wow, the motors came out unbelievable. We're taking the motors over to Richie Zuls this week to dyno them. Motors go in next week "hopefully". Also, I have a set of XR's with 10 hours on them with Halo showers that I'm looking to move, if you know anyone, let me know. I'm going for the Imco Extreme SC with a 1" shortie. Are you really doing Claudio's??If yes, how soon? I'm getting ready for the A/C run?? Looking to open up a can of whooppp ass!!:D:D E-mail me when you get a chance ;)zzie |
Ozzy,
I got the boat down at Typhoon Marine right now. Needed new gimble rings, so I went with the HP. Had to have the dash rewired and new fuel lines and plumbing because the idiot that did it the first time did it wrong. (No it wasn't me) He actually bipassed the fuel filters!!! Water test should be in the next couple days. Looking forward to breaking the 90 MPH mark again :D We are heading out to East Marion this weekend. If Claudios is open we will be there. Not sure if I am going to bring the Sonic. My 25 Checkmate is out there, that I have been trying to sell, so I may splash that. We will be doing the AC run so definately see you there! |
Hey Oz, how you been, congrats on your new motors, and you will like those drives as well, thats what I went with, how much power you pushin, hope to see ya this year, take care.:D Jeff Jassby
|
Hey Jeff!!!
Whats up there buddy? How are you? Bet your counting the days:D. As I write this I'm thinking... is there anyway we can hook up this summer at some poker run or something, any ideas? I'd like to see your vessel, have a few drinks "at the dock of course" etc. As far as the motors, we're estimating somewhere in the 825's. As far as the drives I have to make some kind of move real soon. I might have to purchase the Imco's before the XR's go "ouch!" :( :D :D . Anyway hope you and your family are well in your part of the world. Stay in touch... PS hey how about the A/C run? NJPPC will set you up nice up here with everything. ;)zzie |
