Cool

Time for the update today is Monday August 24th. I called the guy twice. I left him 2 messages and verified with his place of business that he is in town. The guy is ducking me!! I will call him in the morning and tell him if I do not hear from him by the end of the business day then I will be calling the Sherriff!!! I really love all your sugestions from the rope & tree to float and go, but I don't want any responsibility for the guys old ass boat! I will keep you guys updated!

Whynot take the boat and trailor to his boatyard and have them unload it. And if they don't. Well then go with the tree and the rope idea on his lot.

gripit,
You have way more patience than me with regard to a shady guy 'borrowing' my personal belongings. I hope everything works out in your favor, but you're really giving this guy too many opportunities to screw you. Good Luck!

This is probably the best solution. Its a pain in the ass but you will not have moved or hurt his POS boat.

Good luck!

Yard Arms, some boat stands and some 6"x6" timbers, lift it up on the yard arms, drive trailer away, and lower onto boat stands and timbers. Take the yard arms out and good as new.

Don't waste your time warning him. You have already done your due dilligence. Call the sheriff first thing in the morning.
