Help me decide on a new boat
After spending 4k on repairs on my 93. I decided i would be better off just getting a newer boat. Most of my boating is done on small local lakes (5k acres or less) There will be a occasional river run 1-3 times a year (st. croix/Miss). So offshore performance isnt really a concern. Just like everyone else i would like something that goes fast, and looks good to me that is 70-75 mph. It seems cheaper to buy something that is fast already than trying to build it. I would like to get at least a 2000 or newer. Looking to spend anywhere fron 20-40k. Single engine 21-29ft. closed bow. There is a 28ft sunsation in OH that is S/C. That might be too much boat for my small lakes. I was looking at baja h2x's a lot of them have a 6.2 so i would be looking to procharge that engine. I know i would miss that Big block rumble. It is hard to find a boat from the factory that can do over 70mph, single engine.

Pantera makes a very high quality single 28 in several different configurations that runs very well with a HP500. http://www.panteraboats.com/index2.php
Several great deals on used ones out there right now.
