The boat had some delamination and Jim sold it some Guy in Maryland (I think) But Jim cleary told him Not To Race it because it would come apart, for a pleasure boat it would be fine. Well I guess the guy raced it at Point Pleasant or Ocean city and it totally came apart. This is Not the same boat as the Blue & White "Team Progression" Of Scott Hodem. His Had some Bad delam also...

Yo Bruce, what's up? If you were chaning props on the Activator what would you go with to get more top end? Im gettin to about 6200 with those 26's that came with the boat.. By the way, your Excalibur looks great.

At the 1997 Biloxi Worlds there was a Progression which ran in Factory 1. (I thought it was green??) The boat had not qualified to run, as was the case with several others, but was allowed to participate in the race anyway as an exhibition boat. For the Saturday race the Progression Team removed the weight it was required to carry. We were running third in our Sutphen when late in the race that Progression went by us like we were tied to the dock - 5mph+ easy. Only about 6" of that boat was in the water and it was flying. We thought it was the "A" boat when it first blew by. At the crane later we asked their crew if they had taken the weight out of the boat and they swore "No". Needless to say we called

Regardless, to this day I remember the attitude on the thing - beautiful, looked like a Hydrostream.

I Remember back in 94-95 there was a Velocity called "Pure Energy" one race they smoked all the other A Class boats and about 500' from the finish made it look like they broke down, they knew they have to explain the extra pep of an Illegal motor...

that picture was from Baltimore when Arvis still owned it.

Boat is still in Richmond I think, OUI on the board has it, last raced in Orange Beach Worlds, it was always that color (yellow) the Team Progresson Boat was Scott Hodom's boat out of the Point Pleasent area, it started out as an "A" boat then converted to F1, thoes were the days.
