Yes, he looked good. Very Respectable number.
Dave earned this one. He has put allot of effort and money into it.
Congrats to him, JT, Myric, Lucky and the entire crew.

they just interviewed Dave and one engine is still hurt, down 500 rpm he was hopeing for over 200

196mph is a record for new course at Capt Rons, not for the Shootout. Callan Marine still holds the top speed record at 208mph in front of Shooters.

209 is the record for the old course. They did 208 and came back a year later and did 209.

What David Scott did was incredible. Huge difference from old course, they rolled us thru at 30MPH which was a huge dis-advantage to many. If it were like the old days with higher speeds allowed at start I am sure alot would have posted higher speeds.
