Truck mud guard,rock guard
Looking for some thats easy to take off,I don't like the looks of them either,With my New Matcher T paint job, I need to protect it when going out of town,The boat had a about 30 chips in the front

this looks easy,

I had a set for many years. They work well, and the adjustable part is nice. Just be aware that they make your drawbar/flap assembly heavy as hell and awkward to move & store. Not that big of a deal, but something to get used to. I made a "receiver" out of 2x4s on the garage wall and would remove the assembly from the truck and slide it into the "receiver" on the garage wall for storage--just a suggestion.

I didn't cut them to fit my Avalanche at first, I just cocked them backwards. Later on I went and cut them to fit and painted the whole spreader assembly to match the truck. Now that I have the dually, I don't use them anymore as I have extended mudflaps behind each set of rear tires.

I'd seriously consider shrink wrapping the boat on the way home after new paint. Double it up on the fore part of the hull. It's not just your truck that kicks up rocks & road debris.

I dont think Mitcher T has the shrink stuff,thats a good idear.

I really don't like the looks of it,Id rather have a removable fender mud flap I could take off after trips,but the truck has plastic fenders,I also read on the AS site they said allot of rocks/stuff passes between the 2 rear tires,but theres alot of the trailer blocking the center,most chips were about 2 foot from the front,then back about to 6 foot,just a few in the front gell below the paint,thats from 8years of use.

We can shrink wrap the boat at the AT factory after we paint it there. I'll even toss it in for free.

I have the molded plastic mudflaps on my dually that look pretty nice. I also added an additional rubber flap to the bottom of them. As such, I don't use the Rock Tamers anymore.

Rob is the boat painted? Did you change graphics or keep them the same. You sure do keep your stuff maintained in top notch condition!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian I ended up going to Mitcher T in Mi,I appreciate you contacting Pat for me,nice guy.

I wonder if the dually fender mud flaps would do the same as the Rock tamers? again Ill only use them on long trips.Probably even throw them in the truck when not towing on these trips.

I'm guessing that the center nose of the trailer and tool boxes will block some of the center rocks?

Those mud flaps are sweet. I have a simple and inexpensive set I got from an RV store.

Rob, If you shrink wrap, make sure they pad it underneath so it doesn't beat the paint in the wind. I learned this the hard way.
