Merc / wix filter

Is the mercury racing filter that's made by wix
the WIX 51060r or the 51061r

Thanks

The 51060R is equipped with the anti-drain back valve, while the 51061R is not.

I was told first hand by the president of marketing of WIX that I SHOULD NOT use a Wix racing filter on my boat. He said the RACING filters are solely designed for high flow - for race applications and the filter should be changed after EACH race. He was very clear to me that the RACING filter had poor filtering qualities.

It is NOT intended to be used for any long term service.
