Two new motors, blower rebuilds and several more things.

Running in the slop at LOTO after the shootout

Im no where near some of you guys, but we boat at minimum every weekend (sat and sun) but here is my expenses:

-$500 fuel for the boat every weekend (20 weekends) = $10,000
-$50 in diesel towing to the lake twice a weekend = $1,000
-$24 annual dnr launch pass
-$50 raw water pump (annually)
-$50ea Oil change (3x a season)
-$30 in fuel filters
-$350 to new bearings/races, bearing buddies, brakes, wheel cylinder and master for the trailer
-$50 sunblock
-$1,000 lunch/dinner on the water

I am sure there is more, but thats about it for this season.

I would have more in alcohol costs, but I do not drink and boat, I prefer to drink on land....

hmmmm, minus cost the purchase of the boat this season.... new interior $2800 , maintance $2000 , removing procharger and other fixes $5000 , new prop $500 , new tires and bearings $400, gas $1500 , complete rebuild engine rebuild and drive check $8000, winter storage around $2000.... I'm $22,500 in the hole

Typically, the cost of the boat is the least expensive part of ownership, but my 42L / 700sci / #6 setup is a increadibly trouble free. I probably spent $1,500 in preventative maintenance items, plus the typical dockage, fuel, poker run fees, hotels, etc.

The typical boating acronym applies B.O.A.T. (Bring On Another Ten-thousand).

Nice interior! Love the semi buckets. Carpet always looks better than plain white non-skid doesnt it? I run mine for lake duty, but yank in to avoid getting pelican/Gull crap all over the docks in California.

Wildgrafx- Ive got amsoil octane booster. Not sure where it lies on the good/bad scale, but its probably one of the better ones.

Im going to move this stuff from the "ice chests" and put it in one of these storage bins mounted beside the engine.
