what happened to Aqua Tech ?
Anyone know what happened to speed cote? I bought some last year, when I went to put it on, I found some blisters under the bunks, they are being fixed now. I wanted to get ahold of someone to make sure this stuff is still good and the website is gone. Anyone know wwhere they went?

SNAKE OIL!!! I bought some last year and put it on exactly as directed. I did controlled testing before and after and saw absolutely NO IMPROVEMENT AT ALL in top end speed. The only benefit I saw was the scum line wiped off fairly easy, but that also comes with having a good coat of wax on the sides of your hull. If you find it somewhere, DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$. Put your money into something productive for your boat.
There's a reason why their website has disappeared and they were selling it so cheap to all of us last year. Hmmmmmm.....Go figure!

Dennis,
I thought Baja was doing the work. Where were those pic's taken? Did they give you a completion date? I guess you'll have a little detailing when you get her back. Look at the good side. You probably picked up another couple of mph on Paul. More than the speed coating would have gained you.

Polaris Watercraft & Speed Coat
Hello,
My name is Ronald Self with ROGUE RACING out of Austin Texas area.
I bought some of the Speed Coat last year and we used it on the bottom of our Polaris race craft all year. I really thought the stuff worked and had pland on buying more for this year.
I see other people have differant opinions of the speed coat here.
Our watercraft is 9 foot long and we start every race from behind a starting line with engines running. Some people will say that half the race is between the starting line and the first bouy. Could be true but we like to get there first anyway and I really think the little can of mistry oil helped out.
Any how just my opinion of the stuff.

MrRogue,
Welcome to the board. A friend of mine tried Rain-X on his 16 foot Stingray. He claims he picked up three MPH. Only complaint was it felt like it was sliding through the corners.

there is a new one out now, called quickcraft I read an article on it looks good. I am thinking about getting to see how it resists the alge. They claim to have tested on a velocity and picked up a couple 1.5mph or something close to that.
