MN? You must be driving Jerry Bergs boat and I have run that boat at 108 without chime. Set tabs at 3, drives about 4.5, should not chime walk at all at 100. Over 100 you will need to burp the wheel.

My 32 will walk a bit around 75 if the tabs are not set right, props turn in.
US1 told me he turns his props out and changed completely, no walk only lost 1 m.p.h.

I have wondered the same thing Mike Sufka is asking. At really high speeds 90-110 mph in an Allison 20' outboard v-hull they chine walk and need to give slight steering input to correct. Very slight. It is easy to do once you have mastered it. It took me many hours of seat time to get it. I have wondered if the the really fast offshore v-hulls are the same way. So there is some burbing of the wheel needed? Makes sense and is easy to do if you know how to do it. I wonder how many drivers can do it and if anyone has shown them? Mike L is an example as he commented his race boat chine walks a little bit at 115+ in flat water.

Never herd of Burbing of the wheel, can someone tell me what that is?

I've had mine chine walk up to 100 and then the next time like it's on rails. I think it has to do with trim and water conditons, also driver error.

Burping the wheel........hold the wheel in your arms and gently pat it on the back....drrrrr everyone knows that.
