Is Throttle up still open?
I have been trying to call them for 3 days.
No answer and no voice mail.....? Whats up? |
I live pretty close to there, will try to pay attention next time I drive by.

I spoke with Julie at Throttle-Up last week. I am a TU customer, and here is what I posted in another thread, in reference to them being closed.
As a very satisfied customer, and after speaking with them, I do not believe the above, to be an accurate statement. They have made huge investments in machining and heat treating equipment, in recent years, and worked hard to build a reputation in the industry, as the best of the best. It is my opinion that Throttle-Up (like many other companies) may need to take some time to adjust to various market and economic conditions. Personally, I fully expect them to continue to lead the industry in propeller design, manufacturing, and customer service. To: Matt, Julie and the entire team at TU, best wishes for the future, keep doing what you are doing, and thank you for what you have already done. |
If you call the business Number, there recording says they are closed for the season and look forward to starting the new season in 2010.
I wish them the best and an early return. Jon |
Hope they survive. I'm going to eventually need a prop from them . . .

good luck Jules & Matt |
I have tried to talk to someone there for the last couple weeks with no luck. I also left 2 messages with BBlades and haven't got a call back.
|
I found it kinda weird that they no longer supported or would work on props except their own in house props.
Considering 95% of performance boaters run production props like Mercury it seems a bad move in this economic market. I guess they know what they are doing though .. |

Buddy just had some work done by BBlades, Brett's been out of the shop for the last 2 weeks,
as for Throttle-up i wish them the best, nobody in the bussiness better. |
Brett did 2 labbed Maximus 5 blades for me last month. From shipping to receiving back, it was less than a month. They work great. TU is a great company and I hope all works out well.
