Everyone I talk to is bitterly disappointed about this. Everyone agrees that the effect on the promoters and the local economy is a substantial loss. Personally, I was very much looking forward to attending this event as a sponsor and meeting lots of great people. I really hope Norm can make it happen next year.

The funnty thing is the area has a sanction for an Antique race boat regatta, every other year, right in the busiest section of the lake. Is that event cancelled as well?

What a shame Lake George held one of the greatest APBA OPC nationals ever back in the 60's. I guess you really can't go home again.
