Default Baja H2X or Checkmate ZT244

Im looking at buying one of these and want some insight into which you think would be better. Basicly same boat with different names. If it matters-Baja is a new '08 and Checkmate is new 2010. Thanks

I'm a Baja guy, but I would buy the Checkmate as you would get a warranty with the boat rather then dealing with Sea Ray on the Baja.

Just my .02

Save the depreciation and buy a nice used Baja.

Wheres most of your boating going to take place and how much are you looking to spend???? There's so many good deals on used boats its incredible. For example..... (not swaying, just an example) theres a 2002 29 kryptonite for sale, $42,000. Thats a 85mph 29 footer low hour with trailer-- $15,000-$18,000 lower then a new checkmate or baja. Also, an awesome 2005 30 y2k superboat with a 496HO just went up for sale for 50k! I'd seriously consider some of the options out there before ya decide with new.

Bought a new H2X back in '99 and I loved it.
