Brand new 300SX, 3 weeks after delivery.

Melted piston #5, veltilated the block with connecting rod #5.

I could not give up, it is on my brand new (now 2 years old) 30 Skater.

I was thinking maybe a batch of bad castings. Recently I was told of another 30 Skater that had to replace the lower unit due to seal failures and water in the case. He reportedly ran and hour and had the same cracks. I tried to contact him directly, no response.
