I've tried lh and rh on my velocity and didn't notice a difference except that I had to turn the wheel the other way to keep it on the pad. My guess is that maybe the owner blew a drive and just bought a LH drive, otherwise I'd have to go with Biggus. I don't think anyone ran a LH single in the 80's????
